TATTING. BETTER THAN SIEG-HEILING. w/ Flexx

The last of the trio of tattoo artists who will be at our shop tomorrow, February 19th, at Jiřího z Poděbrad Square, is Teplice patriot Tomáš Randl aka Flexx.

An experienced guy, you won't often catch him in the "Alright, today I'm tattooing flash designs, whatever" mood. His specialty is usually bigger, full-color compositions. Flash mayhem only got added after some serious pressure. 😜

If you can’t find a spot to get a tattoo, you’re sure to find a spot at the bar for a drink. We haven’t seen each other in a while, so come on down!

DJs Kobe and Pavel Aeling will be playing.

👉 1.You travel between Teplice and Switzerland for your job (not Czech-Saxon, LOL), but I’ve heard you’re thinking about settling down. So, what’s going on with your Teplice studio?

I’ve already tried a studio in Teplice, but honestly, I didn’t enjoy being there alone, so I shut it down. This year, I’d really like to focus more on the Czech Republic, but for now, it’ll be through guest spots and we’ll see what time brings.

👉 2.You grew up and live in Teplice. In this country, it’s pretty common for people, for various reasons, to move to Prague. Which is understandable, but ultimately sucks. Why are you sticking with Teplice?
Teplice are beautiful, but at the same time, it can be pretty disgusting, and I love the contrast! I know every corner of the place and feel at home there. Big up TP. 🫶🏻

👉 3.From your online presence, it’s pretty clear you have a strong anti-fascist stance (me gusta). Why?
Racism is bullshit, and anarchy is life. 😁

👉 4. The last great concert you went to: ...
Yzomandias. To be honest, I don’t go to many concerts. Too many people together freaks me out, and I’d rather have a drink somewhere in a pub with a few friends.

👉 5.A bit of gossip. We know you tattoo the massively trending group Million+ (boomers can Google it). It’s like you were tattooing Karel Gott and Golden Kids together at the end of the ‘60s. How did you get involved with them?
I first became friends with Dickson. Then he brought in Yzo, who brought in Nobody, and I started tattooing all of them. That was about 12 years ago. 😅

👉 6. How much does it annoy you that we make you tattoo flash designs? :))
I actually like flash designs! It's just that on smaller pieces, you can’t feel my handwriting as much, but if the client is happy with the outcome, then I’m happy too. 🤘🏻
